What made you decided to cut your hair?

I got a perm when I was 5 years old, never got the chances to see my REAL hair. When I went back home to Puerto Rico, and saw my cousin had cut her hair. She was beautiful, I have never seen someone with my skin color, my face features look so beautiful and unique. The next day I went to the barbershop with her and cut my hair. I felt release and refresh. Finally, found self-love.

How did you prepare yourself for your first hair cut?

I looked at a couple pictures and show the barber how I wanted my hair to be.

What’s the funniest thing someone told you about being a baldie?

Called me Lemon head.

What is your biggest challenge being a baldie?

None I learn to love myself more.

Any tips for anyone that is trying to go bald?

I feel like everyone should cut there hair once in their life, to experience the feeling.
